The sheriff FAQ says report-copy requests are made in person with valid picture ID. The FAQ limits report copies to the person who made the report. The only office-hour statement found in the sheriff FAQ was for pistol permit renewals, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding weekends and state or federal holidays; that is not a jail visitation-hours statement.
